  • Chlorella is a green single-celled algae cultivated in fresh water ponds.
  • It has a grass-like smell because the high amounts of chlorophyll in it, the highest concentration of any plant in the world. It has existed on the plant for billions of years and was one of the first foods to appear. Fossils of Chlorella have been found dating back 3 billion years.
  • Chlorella is one of the healthiest, most potent foods in existence. In addition to being a perfect food for humans, lower grades of Chlorella are fed to livestock all over the world.
  • Chlorella is a powerful high-protein algae. It is about 65% assimilable protein. There are five grams of protein in one teaspoon or fifteen grams in one tablespoon.

This CGF makes chlorella most useful for improving growth patterns in children, maintaining health in old age, healing injuries, and initiating growth where it has been stunted from disease or degeneration, including Alzheimer’s disease, nervousness, palsy, seizures, sciatica, multiple sclerosis and other nerve disorders.
  • It also promotes normal growth of disease processes such as tumours. Because its chlorophyll content is one of the highest of any food, chlorella is useful for the many conditions which benefit from chlorophyll’s purification, renewal, and anti-inflammatory properties. Treatment of viruses and fungi which sap energy, such as candida-overgrowth, Epstein-Barr virus, chronic fatigue immune deficiency syndrome (CFIDS), and AIDS, is advanced by the immune-enhancing qualities of CGF as well as the antiviral effect of chlorophyll.
  • It also assists all blood sugar imbalances like diabetes, hypoglycaemia, manic depression.

Acid & Alkaline – sea vegetables/plants are excellent for alkalising and work well alongside herbal medicine.

It is important that we maintain a balanced body pH of ideally around 7.2-7.4, which is roughly neutral. A diet of junk food to include fast food, over-cooked, processed foods, (especially soft drinks (the worst is cola), which have a pH of 2.7) creates a body that is several thousand times more acidic than our bodies. The dangers of Electromagnetic fields (EMF) and EU Legislation

Why can the radiation from mobile phones and computer VDU monitors be harmful?

Electromagnetic fields (EMF) play an essential role in the control of the biological activities of a human being.  Our natural state of good health and feeling of well being prevails when our biological activity is in balance.

European Parliament Recommends Stricter Safety Limits for Cell Phones & EMF’S

NY, Sep 18, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) — The European Parliament has voted 522 to 16 to recommend tighter safety standards for cell phones. In light of the growing body of scientific evidence implicating cell phone use with brain tumors, the Parliament says, “The limits on exposure to electromagnetic fields [EMFs] which have been set for the general public are obsolete.”

The European Parliament “is greatly concerned at the Bio-Initiative international report concerning EMFs, which summarises over 1500 studies on that topic and which points in its conclusions to the health risks posed by emissions from mobile-telephony devices such as mobile telephones, UMTS, WiFi, WiMax and Bluetooth, and also DECT landline telephones.” Further, it points out the need to “address vulnerable groups such as pregnant women, newborn babies and children.”

The Mid-Term Review of the European Environmental and Health Action Plan recommends 36 specific points for improving human health. It points to changes that can improve air and water quality, and reduce exposures to toxic chemicals and EMFs that have been linked to health risks.

BioInitiative author Dr. Martin Blank, Columbia University professor and researcher in bioelectromagnetics says, “Cells in the body react to EMFs as potentially harmful, just like to other environmental toxins such as heavy metals and toxic chemicals. The DNA in living cells recognizes EMFs at very low levels of exposure, and produces a biochemical stress response. The scientific evidence tells us that our safety standards are inadequate, and that we must protect ourselves from exposure to EMFs due to powerlines, cell phones and the like.”

Lennart Hardell, MD, PhD and Professor at University Hospital in Orebro, Sweden who wrote on brain tumors and cell phones in the BioInitiative Report, says, “The evidence for risks from prolonged cell phone and cordless phone use is quite strong when you look at people who have used these devices for 10 years or longer, and when they are used mainly on one side of the head.” At a conference in London last week, Dr. Hardell noted that exposure to children poses even greater risk than to adults, a fact of concern since so many children now regularly use cell phones.

Noting the already lowered exposure limits of some European countries the EU Parliament is now calling on the EU Council to amend Recommendation 1999/519/EC for all equipment producing emissions in the 0.1 MHz to 300 GHz frequency range. This would include cell phones as well as other wireless devices. Wireless technologies that rely on microwave radiation to send emails and voice communication are thousands of times stronger than levels reported to cause some health impacts.

The Buteyko Breathing Method

In the 1950s a Russian medical scientist, Konstantin Buteyko, discovered the link between disease and breathing.

Very simply, Professor Buteyko found that our breathing determines whether we get the diseases of civilisation – and how badly we get them. That’s because the average depth and volume of our breathing has a profound effect on the uptake of oxygen, metabolism and all bodily systems.

Healthy humans breathe 3-4ltr of air a minute

You can measure the average amount of air we breathe – just like our pulse, blood pressure and temperature. Here are the healthy norms quoted by physiologists:

  • body temperature 98.6 C
  • pulse 60 – 70 beats a minute
  • blood pressure 120/80
  • breathing (or respiration) 3 – 4 litres a minute.

Professor Buteyko’s exhaustive research led him to this immutable conclusion:

Hundreds of chronic diseases can be explained from habitually breathing above the healthy norm. The more you over-breathe, the more disturbed your body chemistry and the more severe your chronic disease

The tendency to involuntarily and habitually over-breathe is known as chronic hyperventilation syndrome (CHVS). It’s extremely common – afflicting (to various degrees) over 80% of all people.

If you’re ill, stop overbreathing

Exhaustive research showed that all sufferers of asthma, allergies, diabetes and some 200 separately named diseases share one thing. They all ventilate or breathe significantly above the physiologically recommended norm. And people who breathe within the healthy norm do not get any diseases of civilisation.

It occurred to Professor Buteyko that if he could retrain the breathing pattern so that it reverted to the healthy norm then he could reverse these diseases.

The method corrects your breathing to reverse disease

After years of tests, Professor Buteyko found a way to normalise the breathing pattern. This system or approach has become known as The Buteyko Method.

Over the past 50+ years, The Buteyko Method has helped tens of thousands of people reverse their chronic diseases and attain robust health. The Method teaches you to recondition your involuntary breathing pattern.
